The feature is available to Premium users starting today. To set emoji statuses, tap the Premium badge at the top of your chat list or go to Settings to change status. This kind of feature can make conversations more orderly while increasing the value of each individual message. You can enable this option from the “Group Permission” section. Keep it on forever, or toggle as necessary to throttle rush hour traffic.

Bots add useful functions both on their own and into your chats; they can do everything from checking the weather to playing games. The aforementioned secret chats are where you can take part in end-to-end encrypted messaging with a contact.
